Casey Evans is an Equine Coach, Registered Teacher, Clinician, Singer/Musician, MC, Equine Performer and Mother. Casey has 30 plus years of experience working with horses and over a decade being a riding instructor and horse human relationship coach. She is currently the Head Tutor for Equine at Southern Institute of Technology, a tertiary provider in the South Island of New Zealand. Casey has written an ebook - ‘A Deep Guide to Equine Connection - Lessons I've learnt & continue to learn’ after turmoil in her personal life set Casey and her Husband Rhys on a journey of discovery which ultimately changed their view of horsemanship and of the world. Together they run horse-human connection retreats, clinics and hold high regard to their work with mental wellbeing organisations in understanding trauma and the polyvagal theory and its relation not only to horses but humans a three way learning between the psychologist/ social workers/counsellors, the horses and of course Casey and Rhys. Although Casey has dabbled in pretty much every equine discipline and worked internationally as a groom/rider she now prefers to focus on her equine partnerships while incorporating her love of performing. After a riding accident she fell in love with liberty and bridleless riding which led her to perform at the biggest equine expos and events in New Zealand. This year she has teamed up with like minded horsemen and women to create Equine Enchantment Performances. Equine Enchantment showcases the magnificent beings that are horses! Together the crew combine their love of horses, horsemanship, music, dance and theatre into inspiring and heartfelt shows. Casey has also recently released her self penned debut EP 'Everything to you'. Recorded in Australia with UK Grammy Nominated Producer Steve James.
